The Lazy Lodge

On the beach, good facilities, nice restaurant with choice of menus for breakfast, lovely staff who can’t do enough for you. Rooms - bungalow - a decent size with good hot shower. Great access to fresh chilled water all day in small metal drinking flasks provided by the property.

Really lovely place to relax in Koh Lanta. It's out of the way of the busier areas. The rooms are really nicely fitted and well equipped with comfy beds. The interior is all finished with polished concrete, which gives them a unique and classy look. The staff here are super nice. We got our laundry done which was completed in a short space of time and good value. You can have a massage on the beach. Food is really excellent - highly recommend the Thai Green Curry and the Massaman. Good cocktails and other options available at the bar. Located right on the beach and you can walk to adjacent bars with great ease.

This place was fabulous! The people were so friendly and welcoming. The food was so good. The villa was spotlessly clean, modern and had everything you need. I spent many hours relaxing in the hammock on the covered veranda. I loved the free refillable water. Each villa is given 2 reusable water bottles & there is a cold drinking water dispenser by reception to refill whenever you need. Such a great idea and way to reduce plastics. It was quiet and a great place to watch the sunset. We hired a moped from the lodge and so didn’t even have to go and get one. I loved the massages right next to the beach. Relaxing in the cool breeze, whilst listening to the ocean waves and being massaged…bliss! So glad this is where we spent the longest stay of our holiday!

We loved everything about Lazy Lodge, so much so that we stayed there twice! We rebooked it for the last couple of nights of our holiday because we wanted to end our trip in a place with AMAZING staff, comfy beds, incredible food and a lovely chilled atmosphere. We visited in 'green season' and so the beach is quiet. However, this suited us completely as there was still enough places to hangout in the surrounding area if you wanted. I also really want to recommend the Koh Lanta Massage ladies, they offer massage services at the lodge and they are fabulous.

Perfection!! We loved our stay here! 5* facilities and service but with the chill/ beach vibe. It is so appropriately named as it’s just superbly designed to enjoy the area and really relax. The lodge itself is beautiful and has a eco and natural feel, it has in everything you could need. We spent so much time on our terrace and hammock which was so nice, as could see the sea and feel the breeze from there. All the sun loungers, cabanas and bar/ restaurant area are natural materials which gives it a true local beach vibe without being a resort style (which we don’t like!). It doesn’t feel overcrowded at all, we would say a small place with enough room for everyone to relax and go about their day. Unbelievably good breakfast - lots of options and very tasty that fills you up!! Also for coffee lovers - they have espresso machines in the room and at breakfast you can order any coffee! Heaven. Everyone who worked there was so so lovely, from the reception ladies, the barman, the masseuses, just everyone you come across is very polite and friendly and helpful. We ate at the restaurant every night which was delicious food and we felt offered slightly alternate options to the classic pad Thai etc, whilst still being traditional Thai food. The restaurant / bar area overlooks the beach and the sunset too which was really incredible! We have no faults at all and was by far our favourite place to stay on our whole trip (4 months!!!) and we would definitely recommend to friends / family, and will hopefully be back ourselves!
